Frequently Asked Questions
Am I a good candidate for an eyelash lift?
Who should not receive this service?
Can I get an eyelash lift/tint if I am pregnant?
What should I put on my lashes/brows after receiving an eyelash lift or an eyebrow lamination?
Will I need to still wear eye makeup after getting an eyelash lift and tint?
Is an eyelash lift/tint low maintenance?
- To determine if you might be a good candidate for this service, consider the condition of your lashes. If you have healthy, natural lashes that are not overly brittle or damaged, you are likely a good candidate. Lash lifts work best on lashes that have a bit of length and thickness to hold the curl. If your lashes are too short or sparse, the results may not be as dramatic, but you can still benefit from the treatment.
Who should not receive this service?
- People with certain health conditions or eye issues should not receive a lash lift. These may include those with:
- Eye Infections (Conjunctivitis, Blepharitis, and other eye conditions)
- Chronic Dry Eye
- Recent Eye Surgery
- Allergic Reactions to Lash Lifting or Lash Glue
- Extremely Sensitive Eyes
- Trichotillomania
- Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy
Can I get an eyelash lift/tint if I am pregnant?
- Because an eyelash lift/tint uses chemicals, it is recommended that clients who are pregnant consult with their doctor before undergoing this service.
What should I put on my lashes/brows after receiving an eyelash lift or an eyebrow lamination?
- It is recommended that you use the conditioning Lash & Brow Moisturizing Pen everyday that we have available for purchase. Made by Biosmetics, this conditioning pen is a high quality, moisturizing serum - recommended for brittle brows and lashes and essential after every tinting, lifting and lamination treatment. Used as a softening post-treatment solution, this serum helps the eyelash lift last longer!
Will I need to still wear eye makeup after getting an eyelash lift and tint?
- No! Although this decision is up to you, the tint will give your lashes a pop of dark color so that it looks like you are wearing mascara, while the lift will allow your lashes to look like they are curled.
Is an eyelash lift/tint low maintenance?
- Yes! Once you get a lash lift/tint, the results may last approximately 4-6 weeks.
